´ë»ýµéÀº ÀÌ·¯ÇÑ Á¤Ã¥ÀÇ ´ë»ó ¹üÀ§¿¡¼­ ¹þ¾î³ª°í ÀÖ´Ù.

A survey was conducted on 1,446 female students with various residential types to
identify their perception and experience of environmental safety, healthy lifestyle,
subjective health status influencing quality of life. A structured questionnaire was used
to collect the data using self-report and the results are as follows.

1) The perception and experience of environmental safety for school area residents
were significantly higher than for those who commute. The school area residents
participated in school activities more actively than the commuters.
2) The regularity of meal was significantly different according to residential types and
monthly allowance. The percentage of school area residents who skipped breakfast was
50.1% that was significantly higher than the commuter group. In addition,
smoking/drinking habits and exercise regularity for school area residents were less
healthier than for the commuters. Accordingly, perceived health status of school area
residents were 1ower than the commuter group.
3) Stress management was the most important variable to explain life vitality index.
Stress related to campus area violence along with exercise habit, health responsibility,
school activity participation, environmental noise, drinking and smoking habit and health
class participation were explained 20% of variance in life vitality index.
4) Perceived health status was significantly related to stress management regularity of
breakfast, and exercise habit. Based on the research findings, several suggestions on
environmental welfare facilities were discussed.
